What community looks like when you stop optimizing everything for absolute beginners

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Wholesome feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

I tried this in Kuala Lumpur with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 7 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

I like the idea, but the setup probably matters a lot. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.

Small caveat: context changes the answer a lot.

Same here. It took me too long to learn.

Great point, especially the part about everything. The a tiny balcony detail changes the whole answer.

Great point, especially the part about optimizing. This pairs weirdly well with banana bread.
