Today I Learned · by Piotr Zieliński · 2026-09-17

A tiny win from Cape Town that made my week before coffee

The detail that surprised me was how much the kitchen changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. facts got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

I found this disappointing because it skips the hardest part. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

That is a surprisingly elegant way to frame it. My friend tried it in Lisbon and had the opposite result.

Agree completely. The simple version is underrated. The the library detail changes the whole answer. Glad you shared the messy version too.
