The small debt habit that changed my rainy evening with an useful constraint

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

I started this because my commute felt a little stuck, and budgeting seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

The detail that surprised me was how much a trailhead changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. This is more useful on a tired commute than on a perfect day.

There is probably a middle ground here. The messy part is easy to underestimate. The spreadsheet should include the emotional cost too.

I had the same reaction to underestimate.

Respectfully, I see it the other way.

What would you change if you started over? I noticed the same thing in Buenos Aires.

The vibe here is immaculate.
