I would prioritize emergency savings before optimizing tiny investment differences. Boring liquidity prevents expensive panic. The a trailhead detail changes the whole answer

I would make the decision with cash flow risk, and optionality in mind rather then chasing the perfect answer. You will learn more from a simple version repeated three times than from a perfect plan you never start.
- Keep one month of expenses visible in your checking buffer.
- Automate savings on payday.
- Avoid any plan you can only follow when life is perfect.
That should give you a solid first pass

I would make the decision with cash flow, risk, and optionality in mind rather than chasing the perfect answer. Most people skip the boring setup, but that setup is what makes the good habit survive a busy week.

- Automate savings on payday.
- Avoid any plan you can only follow when life is perfect.
Hope this helps!

Ask for the total compensation, growth path and manager expectations. Salary matters, but so does the environment you will live in daily. I would love to see a follow-up after 4 weeks

Run the numbers on a normal month and a bad month. If the plan only works in the normal month, it is probably too fragile. I would write it down before changing anything else
