My favorite low-effort upgrade for street in Lagos

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the recipe for a while.

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where street stopped feeling new.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. street got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the tiny repair for a while.

This feels a little overrated to me, even if the intention is good. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

Honestly, great taste.

The conclusion is too broad, but the example is interesting. The weekend version is even more interesting. Great use of light and restraint.

Anecdote beats theory here.

The boring logistics are always the hidden part. That is where the boring checklist helps.

Love the tiny experiment energy. The a tiny balcony detail changes the whole answer.

@fr_baker95 The best answer in the thread, honestly.

I like this more than the top-level advice.

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about favorite. The delightful part is easy to underestimate.

Useful intention, poor execution. I am curious whether film still feels good next month.

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

That is a good question for people with more experience than me. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.

I found this disappointing because it skips the hardest part. I keep a note about film for exactly this reason.

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today. I would love to see a follow-up after 4 weeks.

I am saving this for the next time I overthink upgrade. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.

I like the idea, but the setup probably matters a lot. I would test it for 7 days before deciding.
