Which advice is actually useful that actually stuck

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

I tried this in Melbourne with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Ask Orbit feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

I picked Maybe later, mostly because it feels easiest to live with. I learned that one the expensive way.

Surprised more people aren't choosing Yes, definitely. It seems like the practical answer. I keep a note about questions for exactly this reason.

I picked Not for me, mostly because it feels easiest to live with. That is where the boring checklist helps.

Respectfully, I see it the other way.

Surprised more people aren't choosing Not for me. It seems like the practical answer. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

Surprised more people aren't choosing Only with help. It seems like the practical answer. This is more useful on a tired lunch break than on a perfect day.

I picked Maybe later, mostly because it feels easiest to live with. The Monday morning version is even more interesting.

Great point, especially the part about advice. It sounds small, but the setup matters.

Not for me got my vote. The other choices are good, but this one fits my week. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

I picked Maybe later, mostly because it feels easiest to live with. The quiet constraint is probably the real story.

Anecdote beats theory here.
