The surprising joy of doing the playlist badly at first in real life

I tried this in São Paulo with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. prompts got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare.

What would you change if you started over? I would love to see a follow-up after 10 weeks.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability. I like that it feels lived-in instead of over-polished.

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience.

That is a much better way to say it.

I would love a follow-up example.

I am mostly here for the follow-up. It sounds small, but the playlist matters.

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending. I would test it for 10 days before deciding. This makes me want to start a weekend project.

Appreciate the nuance.

The kindness in this post is lovely. The 2-minute rule is underrated.

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. I am curious whether editing still feels good next month. The texture and mood are lovely.

I am stealing that phrase.

My first thought was cost, then time, then whether I would remember to do it. The 10-minute rule is underrated. This makes me want to start a weekend project.

Anecdotally, this tracks with what I have seen. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

That is fair, but I still worry about maintenance.

This feels like advice from a patient friend. The my desk detail changes the whole answer.
