What tabletop looks like when you stop optimizing everything from a tiny balcony

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the recipe for a while.

This has cozy competence written all over it. The São Paulo example makes it feel concrete.

The vibe here is immaculate. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

I would love a follow-up example.

@mango_orbit8 This is the gentle version of my rant.

That sounds great until you add children/pets/deadlines.

Kind of wild how often visible is the whole issue.

That is a good question for people with more experience than me. The Dublin example makes it feel concrete. Co-op makes almost anything better.
