I tried doing beans the boring way and it worked that actually stuck

I started this because my first week felt a little stuck, and beans seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 6 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the setup for a while.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. gear got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about stuck. I would love to see a follow-up after 4 weeks.

This sounds sensible, though I would need to test it myself. The Warsaw example makes it feel concrete.

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending. I noticed the same thing in Warsaw. The simple version is usually the one people actually repeat.
