Notes from a very normal busy month with Gaming with a surprising constraint
part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the route for a while.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 10 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it

I disagree a bit. gaming matters, but the bigger issue is usually expectations. I would write it down before changing anything else

That is a surprisingly elegant way to frame it. The delightful part is easy to underestimate. This is why house rules need a constitution

Good reminder that boring can be good. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me

that is a good question for people with more experience then me. The awkward part is easy to underestimate. Co-op makes almost anything better
