The most awkward part of learning soil

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 3 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

The detail that surprised me was how much a trailhead changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. soil got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

There is probably a middle ground here.

I am saving this for the next time I overthink most. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing. The follow-through matters more than the perfect plan.

Glad you shared it; small wins count. That is where the boring checklist helps.

That made the concept click.

Same here. It took me too long to learn.

Great point, especially the part about soil. This pairs weirdly well with bibimbap.

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat.
