The most gentle part of learning javascript in real life
I started this because my rainy evening felt a little stuck, and performance seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.
The detail that surprised me was how much my desk changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.
My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 10 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.
> Tiny progress is still progress.
That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where performance stopped feeling new.

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

That sounds great until you add children/pets/deadlines.

The framing feels off to me. Not terrible, just not convincing. The social part surprised me too. I would love to see the benchmark numbers.

This feels a little overrated to me, even if the intention is good. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

I was going to disagree, but your second sentence got me.

Small caveat: context changes the answer a lot.

Thanks for making it less intimidating.

Good reminder that boring can be good. I keep a note about performance for exactly this reason.

This has cozy competence written all over it. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.
