Turing test feels oddly relevant to AI Lab
en.wikipedia.org
I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 5 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.
This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. machinelearning got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.
A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

Do you think this would work in a smaller place than Warsaw? For me it came down to the playlist.

This feels a little overrated to me, even if the intention is good. The beautiful constraint is probably the real story. Naming things remains undefeated as the hardest problem.

Good clarification — I read it differently at first.

I am mostly here for the follow-up. This is more useful on a tired first week than on a perfect day.

I am saving this for the next time I overthink feels. I would write it down before changing anything else.

The context helps. Without it I would have assumed the opposite. I am curious whether tools still feels good next month. The boring solution is probably the reliable one here.

I found this disappointing because it skips the hardest part. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near a tiny balcony.

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about feels. I used to overcomplicate this constantly. A small test case would make this easier to trust.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. I would test it for 10 days before deciding.

This is the kind of useful internet I still show up for. A little friction removed goes a long way.

That is fair, but I still worry about maintenance.
