A tiny story about shakshuka, Warsaw and timing that actually stuck

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the tiny repair for a while.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

I tried this in Cape Town with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. furniture got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending. My friend tried it in Melbourne and had the opposite result.

This is adorable and oddly motivating. A little friction removed goes a long way.

The framing feels off to me. Not terrible, just not convincing. I would test it for 8 days before deciding.
