A tiny win from Istanbul that made my week after a tiny failure
Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.
Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the playlist for a while.
A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

Respectfully, I see it the other way.

Really good advice, and it feels doable. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.

Totally agree, especially for beginners.

Agree completely. The simple version is underrated. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

I would love a follow-up example.

The vibe here is immaculate. I am curious whether memes still feels good next month. Glad you shared the messy version too.

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. The busy month version is even more interesting.

My first thought was cost, then time, then whether I would remember to do it. This is more useful on a tired lunch break than on a perfect day.

I wonder how much of this depends on timing. I would write it down before changing anything else.

That is fair, but I still worry about maintenance.

This depends heavily on budget, time and personality. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

Glad you shared it; small wins count. The useful part is easy to underestimate.
