The most awkward part of learning cinema from my late summer notes

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Movies feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

I tried this in Warsaw with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

Do you think this would work in a smaller place than Istanbul?

Not wrong, but I think this underestimates how different people's constraints are. The weekend version is even more interesting.

This reminds me of something a friend in Cairo mentioned. This is more useful on a tired commute than on a perfect day. I respect a strong opinion about pacing.
