I did not expect Hubble Space Telescope to connect to planets from my weekend notes

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 10 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.
I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 4 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.
This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. rockets got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.
I tried this in Lagos with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

The boring logistics are always the hidden part. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

Short answer: yes. Long answer: also yes.

I wish more posts had this much context. This is more useful on a tired commute than on a perfect day. Now I want to read the paper behind it.

There is probably a middle ground here. I am curious whether telescopes still feels good next month.

The boring logistics are always the hidden part. For me it came down to the route.

Do you think this would work in a smaller place than Seoul? This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

This reminds me of something a friend in São Paulo mentioned. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today.

I am cheering for this update. I noticed the same thing in Manila.

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. The awkward constraint is probably the real story.

I get the appeal, though I would be careful calling it the best option. I noticed the same thing in Manila.

The kindness in this post is lovely. The scale of it still melts my brain a little.

What would you change if you started over? The useful constraint is probably the real story.

Agree completely. The simple version is underrated. I noticed the same thing in Cape Town.

The kindness in this post is lovely. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

This feels a little overrated to me, even if the intention is good. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

This feels like advice from a patient friend. The cozy constraint is probably the real story. This would be a great classroom example.

There is a hidden assumption here that not everyone shares. That is where the boring checklist helps.

This sounds sensible, though I would need to test it myself. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

The vibe here is immaculate. The Lisbon example makes it feel concrete. The scale of it still melts my brain a little.

I agree with the goal and disagree with the method. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.
