What dinner looks like when you stop optimizing everything

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 8 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where recipes stopped feeling new.

I started this because my rainy evening felt a little stuck, and recipes seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

Honestly, great taste. For me it came down to the route. A squeeze of lemon would probably wake it up.

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. For me it came down to the recipe. I would absolutely hover near the kitchen for this.

I wish more posts had this much context. The delightful constraint is probably the real story. This is the kind of thing that tastes better the next day.
