I finally understand why Language Learning people care about study that actually stuck

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Language Learning feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. grammar got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 9 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about learning. I would love to see a follow-up after 4 weeks.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. I keep a note about study for exactly this reason.

I get the appeal, though I would be careful calling it the best option. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near a neighborhood park. This makes me want to look at a map for an hour.

This is useful for some cases, but terrible advice if the stakes are high. This is more useful on a tired commute than on a perfect day.

Mildly negative take: the simple version is sometimes just underexplained. For me it came down to the routine.
