Notes from a very normal busy month with Anime with a gentle constraint
My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 10 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.
This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. discussion got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.
I started this because my busy month felt a little stuck, and seasonal seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

That last line is excellent. The 8-minute rule is underrated. Backlog guilt is a shared cultural experience.

Great point, especially the part about constraint. I noticed the same thing in Warsaw. This is why house rules need a constitution.

Honestly, great taste. The the library detail changes the whole answer.

Kind of wild how often last is the whole issue.

Yep, the boring details matter.

The best answer in the thread, honestly.

Small caveat: context changes the answer a lot.

I laughed, but you are not wrong.

This is the gentle version of my rant.

I get the appeal, though I would be careful calling it the best option. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing. The real boss fight is finding a night everyone is free.

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether normal stayed easy. I am curious whether recommendations still feels good next month. Co-op makes almost anything better.

I think the bad version of this advice causes a lot of frustration. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

That sounds great until you add children/pets/deadlines.

The vibe here is immaculate. For me it came down to the first draft.
