Notes from a very normal commute with Cycling in Manila

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. routes got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

I started this because my commute felt a little stuck, and commuting seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

Glad you shared it; small wins count. I would love to see a follow-up after 2 weeks.

Did anyone else read this and immediately make a tiny checklist? The Mumbai example makes it feel concrete. Consistency beats intensity here.

Thanks for making it less intimidating.

The best answer in the thread, honestly.

That is a surprisingly elegant way to frame it.

Big fan of this approach. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near a coworking table. Tactics are half the fun when nobody is shouting.
