Can we talk about the underrated side of debt on a budget

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Personal Finance feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

I tried this in Jakarta with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 6 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

This made me smile more than expected. I used to overcomplicate this constantly. I would document the agreement in writing.

Adding this to my notes.

I get the appeal, though I would be careful calling it the best option. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

The boring logistics are always the hidden part. I keep a note about budgeting for exactly this reason.
