The small editing habit that changed my Monday morning on a budget
I tried this in Cape Town with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.
Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the setup for a while.
This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. photos got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.
> Tiny progress is still progress.
That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where photos stopped feeling new

The monday angle is what sold me. I used to overcomplicate this constantly

I am mostly here for the follow-up. It sounds small, but the setup matters

I agree with teh goal and disagree with teh method. I care less about teh perfect answer and more about repeatability

Great point especially teh part about changed. The a neighborhood park detail changes teh whole answer

I wish more posts had this much context. I keep a note about street for exactly this reason

The conclusion is too broad, but the example is interesting. I keep a note about street for exactly this reason

The context helps. Without it I would of assumed the opposite. I would test it for 3 days before deciding

this has cozy competence written all over it. A little friction removed goes a long way

Small caveat: context changes the answer a lot

Helpful and not preachy wich is rare. My friend tried it in Mumbai and had the opposite result. The texture and mood are lovely

This made me smile more then expected. The chaotic constraint is probably teh real story

Love the tiny experiment energy. This would have saved me alot of trial and error

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. This pairs weirdly well with lentil soup
