The gentle joy of doing the routine badly at first for absolute beginners
A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat
I tried this in Lisbon with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.
Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

I had a similar experience, but my problem was consistency rather than motivation. The 7-minute rule is underrated.

Can you share what you tried before this? This pairs weirdly well with mango sticky rice.

The vibe here is immaculate. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near a tiny balcony.

Love the tiny experiment energy. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.

Glad you shared it; small wins count. I keep a note about espresso for exactly this reason.

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. For me it came down to the conversation.

I do not have a strong take, but the gentle detail is useful. The commute version is even more interesting.

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending. For me it came down to the practice run.

This reminds me of something a friend in Manila mentioned. This pairs weirdly well with jollof rice.

This feels like advice from a patient friend.
