I changed one thing and suddenly debt made sense with an awkward constraint

I tried this in Lisbon with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

The detail that surprised me was how much the train station changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

The detail that surprised me was how much the corner shop changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

Wonderful detail. It makes the whole thing feel real. My friend tried it in Mexico City and had the opposite result.

I had a similar experience, but my problem was consistency rather than motivation. The late summer version is even more interesting.

That is a surprisingly elegant way to frame it. The a neighborhood park detail changes the whole answer. The hidden expense is usually time.

Big fan of this approach. I would write it down before changing anything else.
