The surprising joy of doing the conversation badly at first from a neighborhood park

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 8 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. comfort got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

I like the idea, but the setup probably matters a lot. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

Fair pushback.

I get the appeal, though I would be careful calling it the best option. My only addition is to make the first step visible. The small imperfections make it feel human.

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near a neighborhood park. Process photos would be fun to see.

My first thought was cost, then time, then whether I would remember to do it. I would love to see a follow-up after 6 weeks.
