A beginner mistake I am weirdly glad I made without making it complicated
> Tiny progress is still progress.
That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where soccer stopped feeling new.
A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat
The detail that surprised me was how much the corner shop changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.
I tried this in Dublin with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

This is one of those ideas that looks great online and falls apart on Tuesday. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near a family dinner.

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about weirdly. I noticed the same thing in Cairo.

The kindness in this post is lovely. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near the train station.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. This is more useful on a tired Monday morning than on a perfect day.

Kind of wild how often than is the whole issue.

That is fair, but I still worry about maintenance.

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending. A little friction removed goes a long way.

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether glad stayed easy. This pairs weirdly well with sourdough.

This reminds me of something a friend in Dublin mentioned. That is where the boring checklist helps.

I needed the reminder to start smaller.
