I tried doing science the boring way and it worked for absolute beginners

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

I started this because my Monday morning felt a little stuck, and culture seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the prototype for a while.

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where science stopped feeling new.

I am mostly here for the follow-up. I would love to see a follow-up after 8 weeks.

This is adorable and oddly motivating. I would love to see a follow-up after 2 weeks.

I had the same reaction to motivating.

I disagree a bit. science matters, but the bigger issue is usually expectations. I am curious whether science still feels good next month.
