I changed one thing and suddenly strategy made sense from my commute notes
> Tiny progress is still progress.
That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where tabletop stopped feeling new.
Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.
I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 9 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

I am saving this for the next time I overthink notes. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near a neighborhood park.

Anecdotally, this tracks with what I have seen. That is where the boring checklist helps.

I agree with the goal and disagree with the method. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

My version of this was messier, but the conclusion was similar. That is where the boring checklist helps.
