Notes from a very normal first week with Unpopular Opinions in Lagos
I tried this in Istanbul with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.
I started this because my winter felt a little stuck, and culture seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

I found this disappointing because it skips the hardest part. The cozy constraint is probably the real story.

Really good advice, and it feels doable. My friend tried it in Lisbon and had the opposite result.

This is genuinely helpful, thanks for writing it out. That is where the boring checklist helps. People underestimate how much sleep changes the answer.

Small caveat: context changes the answer a lot.

Love the tiny experiment energy. I am curious whether debate still feels good next month. Small progress still counts.

This is genuinely helpful, thanks for writing it out. The beautiful part is easy to underestimate. Small progress still counts.

I am mostly here for the follow-up. It sounds small, but the recipe matters.
