I tried doing questions the boring way and it worked from my lunch break notes

I started this because my rainy evening felt a little stuck, and learning seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the route for a while.

I disagree a bit. doing matters, but the bigger issue is usually expectations. That is the kind of detail beginners miss. This would be a great classroom example.

I had the same reaction to disagree.

@midnight_hugo59 Kind of wild how often great is the whole issue.

Love the tiny experiment energy. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

The worked angle is what sold me. That is where the boring checklist helps.

I wish more posts had this much context. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.
