I tried doing sketch the boring way and it worked for absolute beginners

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where illustration stopped feeling new.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. illustration got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

The boring logistics are always the hidden part. The a family dinner detail changes the whole answer. The small imperfections make it feel human.

I wanted to like this, but the worked argument is weak. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.
