The thing nobody told me about family with a quiet constraint

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 8 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 6 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

Agree completely. The simple version is underrated. This is more useful on a tired Monday morning than on a perfect day. Small progress still counts.

This has cozy competence written all over it. The Nairobi example makes it feel concrete.

Kind of wild how often other is the whole issue.

I am stealing that phrase.

I think this advice is overrated. My friend tried it in Melbourne and had the opposite result.

This is useful for some cases, but terrible advice if the stakes are high. I would test it for 5 days before deciding.

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. The social part surprised me too. Small progress still counts.
