The small research habit that changed my busy month after 43 tries

I started this because my rainy evening felt a little stuck, and physics seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. chemistry got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 6 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

I like the idea, but the setup probably matters a lot. The Berlin example makes it feel concrete.

This is the gentle version of my rant.

The vibe here is immaculate. I keep a note about chemistry for exactly this reason.

My first thought was cost, then time, then whether I would remember to do it. This is more useful on a tired first week than on a perfect day.

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending. That is where the boring checklist helps.

Good reminder that boring can be good. This pairs weirdly well with idli.
