Woodworking · by Pixel Coder · 2026-09-23

A tiny win from Madrid that made my week that actually stuck

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Woodworking feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 2 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

I think the bad version of this advice causes a lot of frustration. The Mexico City example makes it feel concrete.

There is probably a middle ground here. It sounds small, but the playlist matters.
