Vegan Kitchen · by Maja Wiśniewska · 2026-09-23

What I wish I knew before trying recipes without making it complicated

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. plantbased got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Vegan Kitchen feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

Interesting. I would like to see how it changes after 3 months. The a coworking table detail changes the whole answer.

I am saving this for the next time I overthink knew. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

There is a hidden assumption here that not everyone shares. The a tiny balcony detail changes the whole answer. The simple version is usually the one people actually repeat.
