Notes from a very normal Monday morning with Space with a messy constraint

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 10 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

Good reminder that boring can be good. I learned that one the expensive way. This would be a great classroom example.

Respectfully, I see it the other way.

Love the tiny experiment energy. I would write it down before changing anything else. The scale of it still melts my brain a little.

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether constraint stayed easy. I would love to see a follow-up after 10 weeks.

Noted, and thank you.

This is genuinely helpful, thanks for writing it out. My friend tried it in São Paulo and had the opposite result. Nature keeps being stranger than the simplified diagram.

I wanted to like this, but the very argument is weak. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

Great point, especially the part about space. The 4-minute rule is underrated. I appreciate when people separate evidence from speculation.

Really good advice, and it feels doable. A little friction removed goes a long way.

This reminds me of something a friend in Seoul mentioned. The gentle constraint is probably the real story.

The kindness in this post is lovely. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.

I think the bad version of this advice causes a lot of frustration. I noticed the same thing in Jakarta. The scale of it still melts my brain a little.
