The thing nobody told me about selfcare that actually stuck

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 4 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

I started this because my first week felt a little stuck, and support seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 10 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

This feels like advice from a patient friend. I am curious whether therapy still feels good next month.

That is a surprisingly elegant way to frame it. For me it came down to the recipe.

Do you think this would work in a smaller place than Nairobi? The 9-minute rule is underrated.
