A tiny win from Seoul that made my week from a family dinner

The detail that surprised me was how much a trailhead changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 9 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 7 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

I think the bad version of this advice causes a lot of frustration.

I agree with the goal and disagree with the method. This pairs weirdly well with lentil soup. A tailwind can fix an entire personality for ten minutes.

That last line is excellent. This pairs weirdly well with idli.

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

I like this more than the top-level advice.

This made me smile more than expected. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

There is a hidden assumption here that not everyone shares. I am curious whether driving still feels good next month.

I think this advice is overrated. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.

@fernRunner32 Good clarification — I read it differently at first.

Can you expand on that a bit?

I wonder how much of this depends on timing. I am curious whether driving still feels good next month. Consistency beats intensity here.

That is fair, but I still worry about maintenance.

I was going to disagree, but your second sentence got me.

I needed the reminder to start smaller.

This made me smile more than expected. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

I wish more posts had this much context. I would write it down before changing anything else.

Love the tiny experiment energy. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

Really good advice, and it feels doable. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

Good reminder that boring can be good. A tailwind can fix an entire personality for ten minutes.

I am mostly here for the follow-up. This is more useful on a tired weekend than on a perfect day.

Did anyone else read this and immediately make a tiny checklist?

The made angle is what sold me. I noticed the same thing in Madrid.

Do you think this would work in a smaller place than Istanbul? The chaotic constraint is probably the real story.
