The ambitious joy of doing the practice run badly at first in Dublin

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 3 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

The detail that surprised me was how much the library changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

Glad you shared it; small wins count. I would write it down before changing anything else.

That sounds great until you add children/pets/deadlines.

Fair pushback.

The Tuesday test is undefeated.

I do not have a strong take, but the practice detail is useful. I would love to see a follow-up after 3 weeks.

My version of this was messier, but the conclusion was similar. The the train station detail changes the whole answer.

That is fair, but I still worry about maintenance.

This sounds sensible, though I would need to test it myself. A boring plan you can keep beats an optimized plan you abandon.

I would pin this if I could.

I wish more posts had this much context. This pairs weirdly well with bibimbap. Good managers make this conversation so much less weird.

Now I want a spreadsheet.

Maybe, but the tradeoff seems bigger than the post suggests. A little friction removed goes a long way.

I disagree a bit. doing matters, but the bigger issue is usually expectations. I would test it for 7 days before deciding.
