The quiet joy of doing the route badly at first after a tiny failure

I started this because my weekend felt a little stuck, and debate seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 5 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

I am cheering for this update. That is where the boring checklist helps.

I am mostly here for the follow-up. This is more useful on a tired late summer than on a perfect day.

The context helps. Without it I would have assumed the opposite. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

Love the tiny experiment energy. The 4-minute rule is underrated.

I disagree a bit. doing matters, but the bigger issue is usually expectations. A little friction removed goes a long way.
