A tiny win from Toronto that made my week from a neighborhood park

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 9 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where interviews stopped feeling new.

This is adorable and oddly motivating. The Lagos example makes it feel concrete. The hidden expense is usually time.

Honestly, great taste. A little friction removed goes a long way.

What would you change if you started over? The ambitious constraint is probably the real story.

That sounds great until you add children/pets/deadlines.

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. The a coworking table detail changes the whole answer.

The conclusion is too broad, but the example is interesting.

This is the kind of disagreement I like.

This is useful for some cases, but terrible advice if the stakes are high. My friend tried it in Manila and had the opposite result.

Big fan of this approach. I would love to see a follow-up after 8 weeks.

This. Exactly this.

This made me smile more than expected. My friend tried it in São Paulo and had the opposite result. Good managers make this conversation so much less weird.

My version of this was messier, but the conclusion was similar. This is more useful on a tired busy month than on a perfect day.

That would annoy me more than it helped. I would write it down before changing anything else.

There is probably a middle ground here. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

Same here. It took me too long to learn.

Appreciate the nuance.

What would you change if you started over? It reminds me of a very specific conversation near the library. Optionality is underrated.
