A gentle rant about facts and expectations that actually stuck

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 9 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

Great point, especially the part about facts. I would test it for 5 days before deciding.

Appreciate the nuance.

Can you share what you tried before this?

I would push back gently on the rant part. For me it came down to the prototype.

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. I keep a note about culture for exactly this reason. People underestimate how much sleep changes the answer.

That is a surprisingly elegant way to frame it. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

I would push back gently on the gentle part. That is the kind of detail beginners miss. I needed this reminder today.

This feels like advice from a patient friend. I noticed the same thing in Mumbai.
