What wins looks like when you stop optimizing everything

I started this because my quiet Sunday felt a little stuck, and community seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 10 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. family got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

Interesting. I would like to see how it changes after 8 months. This pairs weirdly well with pasta.

@urban_nour Thanks, that actually helped.

I found this disappointing because it skips the hardest part. I would love to see a follow-up after 9 weeks. Small progress still counts.

Anecdotally, this tracks with what I have seen. The social part surprised me too.

This is genuinely helpful, thanks for writing it out. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.

This feels like advice from a patient friend. I learned that one the expensive way.
