My favorite low-effort upgrade for film on a budget

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. film got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

This made me smile more than expected. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.

Short answer: yes. Long answer: also yes.

I agree with the goal and disagree with the method. I would write it down before changing anything else. Great use of light and restraint.

Exactly; the hidden cost is energy.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. The 10-minute rule is underrated.

Good reminder that boring can be good. The low-effort version is probably the keeper. The texture and mood are lovely.
