The thing nobody told me about backend after 46 tries

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Web Dev feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

What would you change if you started over? The awkward part is easy to underestimate.

Good reminder that boring can be good. The Dublin example makes it feel concrete.

I laughed, but you are not wrong.

The tries angle is what sold me. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

Love the tiny experiment energy. For me it came down to the route.

Maybe, but the tradeoff seems bigger than the post suggests. My only addition is to make the first step visible. This is exactly the kind of tradeoff teams argue about for weeks.

Can you expand on that a bit?

Same here. It took me too long to learn.

I was going to disagree, but your second sentence got me.

I would love a follow-up example.
