The thing nobody told me about people

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 8 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actualy follow through.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

I tried this in Kuala Lumpur with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

The detail that surprised me was how much a trailhead changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy

This is genuinely helpful, thanks for writing it out. This is more useful on a tired Monday morning than on a perfect day

That sounds great until you add children/pets/deadlines

wonderful detail. It makes the whole thing feel real. This pairs weirdly well with mango sticky rice. I needed this reminder today

do you think this would work in a smaller place than Warsaw? The messy constraint is probably the real story

This is the kind of disagreement I like

Good reminder that boring can be good. It sounds small, but the first draft matters

I had a similar experience, but my problem was consistency rather then motivation. I keep a note about questions for exactly this reason

Glad you shared it; small wins count. The Mumbai example makes it feel concrete
