A gentle rant about prompts and expectations with an ambitious constraint

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 2 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where prompts stopped feeling new.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. fiction got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the recipe for a while.

That is a surprisingly elegant way to frame it. A little friction removed goes a long way.

The conclusion is too broad, but the example is interesting. I am curious whether editing still feels good next month. This makes me want to start a weekend project.

That made the concept click.

@sleepy_fern65 Same here. It took me too long to learn.
