A gentle rant about recipes and expectations after a tiny failure

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

I tried this in Mexico City with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

I started this because my commute felt a little stuck, and nutrition seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. The awkward part is easy to underestimate.

I wonder how much of this depends on timing. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

Fair pushback.

This feels like advice from a patient friend. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error. Texture is doing a lot of work here.

I think the bad version of this advice causes a lot of frustration.
