A surprisingly useful lesson from a neighborhood park in real life

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where furniture stopped feeling new.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 3 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

This is useful for some cases, but terrible advice if the stakes are high. I keep a note about furniture for exactly this reason.

Kind of wild how often concept is the whole issue.

This is genuinely helpful, thanks for writing it out. I am curious whether joinery still feels good next month. The small imperfections make it feel human.
